The New Hope Founder’s Day Pageant that was held on September 27, 2008 was dedicated to honor the memory of Chelsea Rowe. Chelsea was the 2006 New Hope Founder’s Day Queen and the 2007 New Hope Christmas Queen.

“I feel that all the contestants that participate in the pageant are part of the pageant family. I try to make everyone feel good about themselves and want them to come back to participate in all of my pageants. Chelsea was one of those girls that loved pageants and her and her mother would make such a long trip to compete that I felt that this was the best way I could show that we would truly miss her and hopefully show that we, as a pageant family, do care about our contestants and their families”, says Director Tina Anderton.
